Gone With the Wind Festival in Marietta, GA

Last weekend (June 6-8) I was able to check out some of the fabulous events at the Gone With the Wind Festival in Marietta, GA. In celebration of the 75th anniversary, this festival was made up of some great events, including a costume ball complete with dinner and dancing to Civil War Era music. Some of the fabulously dressed guests were gracious enough to allow me to photograph them for our site:

IMG_2628Other events at the festival included two plays, “The Wind Has Left” and “Vivien,” an author’s forum, a lecture on the costumes from the film, a special guided tour of the Wilbur Kurtz exhibit, and a live auction.
